I have a 2024 Tesla Model 3 Refresh/Facelift and long story short, it works. For me the screwdriver didn’t work so I had to use my own. Other than that all the things included for assembly worked. It’s a very tedious process, take your time. Some of the bolts/screws were really tricky to get out due to angles and Tesla putting them on super tight but you’ll figure it out. When receiving the product and unboxing it there will be a QR that takes you to a video but I’m pretty sure that’s for a MY which isn’t too different but I also found this video on youtube helpful by the name of Orko Auto, I would switch between the 2 for help. When unplugging the actual screen the instruction video only shows them removing one pink harness but for my car there was another black one, again Orko Auto’s video helped with that.All in all it turned out pretty great just a grueling process. The screen is kind of wobbly when driving but not too much, that could be because I didn’t re screw everything as tight as Tesla but I tried my best and it’s not noticeable unless you’re looking at it for long durations. It doesn’t make any noise which is great. I would recommend this is you’re looking for a swivel mount for your Model 3 Refresh
Just buy this , simple. After install the viewing angle is the way it should have come from the factory. The install is pretty simple and straightforward. The only issues I had were a few tight spots and very little room to work. For reference I am 6’2” and 230lbs…. And yes my back and neck are hurting as I type this. Basically think how awkward doing plumbing is…. Not crazy difficult but awkward and uncomfortable for about 30 minutes. Pro tip… don’t just look at their video or instructions. Watch 3 or 4 youtube videos and then install. Basically all these kits are the same. Good luck! You will be glad you did it ! Btw my car is a 2025 tesla model 3
I was very impressed with the quality of this swivel mount. The swivel movement feels smooth both horizontally and vertically - while it is also secure and doesn't slip. The install is nothing too difficult - just removing a few bolts, removing a few screws, adding the swivel mount base and then refitting the bolts and screws - something which can be finished in under an hour at an easy pace. I recommend searching for "Tesla Model Y Swivel Mount Install Tutorial" video tutorial to see the entire process. Overall highly recommended.
Great product and upgrade to my Model Y screen. Swivel kit installation was not difficult to install. I watch the video provided with the kit and follow the instructions given. I'm impressed with the swivel. Highly recommended.
Works well, install is a bit tough and it won't be like OEM of course. For the price you get a decent new feature on your car that you wouldn't otherwise have.
